Does your Dometic three way fridge run well on electric hook-up and on 12v but hardly cools on gas?

This is a problem I suffered last year.  The problem turned out to be a partial blockage of the tiny nozzle in the gas jet.  I watched the Dometic engineer repair it and put this knowledge to good use when the problem recurred in Germany.  On both occasions there was still a small blue flame but you could not hear the gas gently ‘roaring’.  Obviously the information below is just for interest as gas appliances should only be repaired by qualified personnel.  Do NOT attempt to clear a blocked jet with a pin. The above procedure should be carried out by a properly qualified gas fitter.

Thanks for the advice. I just got round to re-dismantling the burner unit last night and applied your squeeze and pull methodology. As I was doing it it felt like a triumph of hope over expectation, but – eureka – it worked like a charm.  A dish of water miraculously transformed to ice overnight.  I don’t think the fridge has ever worked better.
