The Murvi Christmas Lunch will be held at Woodbury Park Golf Club, near Exeter. (See http://www.woodburypark.co.uk/find-us-2/ for a location map.)
Woodbury Park is quite a large complex. We will meet in the Terrace Bar of the Golf Club (not the nearby Hotel) from 12 noon. We will eat at about 1 p.m. and we have the use of the Oaks room until 3 p.m., so there should be plenty of time to chat.
The price will be £19.50 per person for a traditional three-course Christmas lunch and coffee. The price includes a tip.
So far 31 members have confirmed their attendance and I have emailed them separately. If you would like to attend but have not already booked, please contact me as soon as possible.
The price includes our private use of the Oaks Room, which has a great view out over the golf course and beyond.

To Start
Roasted butternut squash and apple soup, finished with crème fraiche and snipped chives
OR Chicken and apricot terrine with chargrilled toasts and chilli jam
Mains
Roast Devonshire turkey served with fresh sage and onion stuffing with crispy roasted potatoes
OR Wild mushroom brie and cranberry filo parcel
Panache Fresh seasonal vegetables served at the table
Desserts
Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce
OR Vanilla Panna Cotta with biscotti
Freshly Brewed coffee and mints

Many thanks to John Day for organising this for us. John has advised that if you bring your Murvi, you should park in the top car park. The dress code is smart casual.
For those interested in camping there is a campsite nearby. Brooklands Caravan Park is 2 miles from the Golf Club. It is open all year and scores 8/10 from 25 reviews on the UK Campsite website. It may be possible for a small number of Murvis to stay in the Golf Club car park. Alternatively, wild camping is possible at this time of year at Exmouth, along the seafront.
