FULLY BOOKED

At Treloan Campsite

Portscatho, Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall TR2 5EF

Arrive Thursday 20th May (after 13:00) depart Tuesday 25th May by 11:00.

The site is just above the coastal footpath and within easy walking distance of Portscatho village.  In theory pubs should be open for customers going indoors no earlier than 17th May so we may be lucky but I can make no promises!  The renowned Hidden Hut may be open for lunches but I have not been able to contact them yet.  Keep an eye on their website for opening details:  https://www.hiddenhut.co.uk/

More information can be found on the campsite's website and I will publish more details including advice on the best route nearer the time.  https://treloancoastalholidays.co.uk/   Unlike the two previous rallies we have had here I am not arranging any special visits but I will lead a couple of walks. It is possible to get a small ferry to St Mawes and from there a ferry to Falmouth but the ferry is quite a long walk from the site.

The cost is £22 per van with two people per night making a total of £110 for the five nights.  EHU should be available for an extra £3.10 per night but I can't guarantee EHU for everyone. Dogs are £1 per night extra.  I have not been able to arrange a discount as the site would have no problem filing these pitches at the full price.  When I first checked they had 15 pitches free and two days later that was down to ten - which I grabbed.

The procedure for booking is to email the site on info@treloancoastalholidays.co.uk copy to me please and ask for one of the pitches allocated for the Murvi Club, if you would like EHU please let them know.  They will send you a booking confirmation which will include payment details by bank transfer. They do not take cards. A deposit of 50% must be paid 30 days before arrival and the balance before arrival. It will be a first come first served for the ten available pitches.

Treloan is a perfectly positioned site although the facilities are not up to CMC standards and you may prefer to use your on board facilities - if only for additional Covid safety.

Although the rally is 20 to 25 May there may be space for early arrivals and if anyone wants to book for an earlier date please discuss this with the site. The following weekend is a Bank holiday so I suspect staying beyond the Tues may be difficult but by all means ask the site.  Email is usually the best way to contact them but a phone call (01872 580989) in the late afternoon can often find someone in the office.
