The Site - This brand new purpose built site opened in March 2015. This will be the site’s first meet! ‘Situated in between the rugged beauty of the Forest of Dean and the picturesque Wye Valley this family run caravan and camping site offers fantastic purpose built facilities. Heated shower block, level hard-standing pitches and all the services you expect are ready for you to plug in to.
Situated at Bearse Farm on the edge of the village of St Briavels we are ideally situated for country walks in the adjoining historic woodlands of the Forest of Dean and the beautiful Wye Valley with its fantastic scenery, border towns, castles and ruins.
Country towns, Golf Courses and villages are all within easy reach of the site making it a great place to stay all year round.’
Cost - £10 per head per night, electricity £3 per night, dogs free.
Arrival Time - The usual arrival time is 1 p.m. but the site owners are happy for people to arrive before that.

The camp site is situated on the edge of the village of St.Briavels in Gloucestershire with fabulous walks through the Forest of Dean, breathtaking views of the stunning Wye Valley, historic castles and abbey ruins to visit as well as blockbuster film locations to find.
The Welsh border towns of Monmouth and Chepstow are within easy reach as are Coleford and Lydney. On bus route to Chepstow/ Coleford (English bus passes are valid as it is in Gloucestershire, although I don’t know what happens if you stray into Wales!)
The Sculpture Trail gives you a walk with a difference and nearby you can hire bikes and cycle around the many miles of cycle track running through the forest.
Wild boar, sheep and deer run free through the forest with many buzzards and other fabulous birds of prey to spot there is a lot for wildlife lovers to do.

Puzzle Wood - Walk through the enchanting maze of mossy gulleys, see where films such as 'Merlin' and Dr Who were made - 2.7 miles
Perrygrove Miniture Railway - 2.7 miles
Clearwell Caves - These natural caves are dated back to well over 4,000 years. Atmospheric mine workings with 9 impressive caverns - 2.4 miles
Dean Heritage Centre – Gloucestershire’s leading attraction. The centre shows the unique history and heritage of the beautiful Forest of Dean. Chainsaw carving demonstrations and charcoal making are some of the many attractions here.
Beechenhurst - Visit the Giants Chair on the 4 mile Sculture Trail. Climb the tower or just relax - 6.5 miles
Dean Forest Railways - This place can bring back memories of the magic of trains from a bygone era - 6.2 miles
Chepstow Castle - This castle stands on the banks of the River Wye and boasts the oldest castle gates in Europe, all wood and over 800 years old - 9.3 miles
Taurus Crafts - An Arts and Craft visitor centre with 15 small artisan businesses. Restaraunt/cafe selling organic wholesome food - 6.6 miles
