At Devizes Camping and Caravanning Site

I have booked myself in to the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Devizes for four nights from Wednesday 26thFebruary in 2025. If you would like to join me, please book direct with the Camping and Caravanning Club, either on their website or ring the booking line on 024 7647 5426.
You need to use the online or main telephone booking line, as the booking procedures have changed, so you can’t now book with the site direct until less than two weeks before you go.
Make sure you put into the special requests section that you would like to have a pitch near the other Murvi members.

I‘m not sure if you have to be a member to book for that time of year as the following message came up on my computer after I had booked. Member only because of season date restrictions If you aren’t a member of C&CC and have problems booking this might be why.
The Devizes site is ideally situated between the Kennet and Avon canal and the Three Magpies pub, near the pretty village of Seend. There is a good bus service, which stops very near the site, running between Devizes and Bath. Devizes is a few minutes away by bus or there is a very pleasant, approx. 4mile, walk into the town, along the canal, with a café on the way. It is an interesting town with a good market on Thursday morning (very good cheap cheese stall!). In the other direction, about a mile along the canal, is the Barge pub, which does very good lunches. Lacock Abbey is quite close and there are good walks in the area.
