On the Cumbrian coast within easy walking distance of a couple of pubs and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Light Railway .

Good local low level walking around Ravenglass and some great walking and views of the Mountains from Dalegarth (station at end of Light railway)

The Ratty Arms is a short walk from the campsite located in the old station building of the coastal branchline and hopefully we can arrange a group meal one evening.

Muncaster Castle is a relatively short walk over fields or by road if wet (pavement) a historic house with views over the river Esk and an interesting Owl centre.
