I have booked myself into a campsite by Bala Lake for three nights from 30th August. It is at the other end of the lake from Bala and next to the Bala Lake railway. There are three trains a day going to the town, but it is quite pricey.
The campsite is Bwch-yn-Uchaf, Llanuwchllyn, Y Bala, Gwynedd, LL23 7DD
They have a couple of pitches with electric but also quite a few on grass without electric. The price is £10 per night per person, plus £8 for electric(£5 for singles) and £1 for dogs. Please ring them on 01678 540983 to book and tell them you are camping with the Murvi Club. They will require 50% deposit.

There is a triathlon in Bala on the Sunday, which my daughter is taking part in. It will be quite busy.
