"A gem of a site in a lovely setting, lost in Mid Wales between Snowdonia and old Montgomeryshire. Gwern-y-Bwlch Caravan Club Site features terraced pitches, some with splendid views across the valley. You'll soon find the pace of life slows to a relaxed stroll in this part of Wales. The caravan park is an ideal base for country pursuits like birdwatching or fishing. Don't forget your binoculars - the RSPB has reserves at Lake Vyrnwy and Ynys-Hir. A conservationist's paradise, with a bird hide and feeding station on site - watch out for the red kite in the area.
Gwern-y-Bwlch Caravan Club Site has proved ideal for anglers, who often try their luck at the Llyn Clywedog reservoir, or in the Dyfi River. If you fancy sea fishing you can book trips from the harbours of Aberystwyth or Aberdyfi. Walkers will find the Ffordd Glyndwr long distance footpath passes the caravan site. Further walking is available through the local woodland of Llanbrynmair that was developed by the Forestry Commission."
Please contact the Caravan Club direct http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/ or telephone the site on 01650 521351. Then let me know you will be joining me by emailing juliaright@aol.com or phoning 07740406449. There are only 34 pitches so early booking is advised.
