This year’s Southern Christmas meet will be held from Sunday 1st December to Thursday 5th
Once again it will be at
Chertsey Camping and Caravanning Club Site, 65-67 Chertsey Bridge Rd, Chertsey KT16 8JX.
It is very near junction 11 of the M25 and is not within the London ultra low emission zone. You do not need to enter the zone unless you are coming from within Greater London.
The site is on the river just outside Chertsey, with good walks along the river and two pubs and bus stop very close by. We will have our Christmas lunch on Tuesday 3rd at the Kingfisher pub, just across the river from the campsite. I am trying to organise a trip to Hampton Court on Wednesday 4th. The cost of admission is £27.20 for adults and £21.80 for over 65s. It is possible to go via public transport but takes about an hour and involves two buses. If anyone has any experience of Uber vans, which apparently can be booked days in advance, could you contact me separately?

When you book please say you would like to camp with the Murvis. This is important as the camp site will then try to put us near to each other. If you are booking online click on the box “Vehicle Reg and Special Requests” to request this.
The price will vary depending on your age and whether you are singles or doubles. It will be more expensive if you aren’t CC & C members.
There are only hardstanding pitches available in December, and all pitches are big enough for an awning.
