Following the success of the 2023 rally, the November 2024 rally will be held again at Whitemead Forest Park in the Forest of Dean over 4 nights commencing on Monday 18th November. The park has a range of facilities available to all guests on site including the Foresters Bar & Restaurant as well as a heated swimming pool, sauna and gymnasium. Additionally, off-site there is a choice of cycle-trials, local walks and many local attractions. 

Following further advice from the Park on rally pricing, the revised fee is £25 per night incl EHU. This is still significantly cheaper than the public entry price.

You will receive an invitation for settlement of the balance of £78 later on in August.

The programme is planned as follows:

Monday 18^th November:     We arrive : a chance to explore the many site facilities

Tuesday 19^th November :    Evening slideshow

Wednesday 20^th November: Quiz night in the bar with Wendy

Thursday 21^st November:   Supper in the restaurant

Friday  22^nd  November:     We’ll meet again!

There are many off – road walks and cycle trails on offer. 

The Fountain Inn is an an excellent  dog friendly pub in Parkend, a 5 minute stroll through the woods, likewise the Park Village Café.

 The Dean HeritageCentre, 6 miles away, is well worth a visit, officially open on Thursday 21^st, but will open for us any other day if we get a group together. I may be able to arrange group transport if there is sufficient interest. More information to follow!

Arrangements are being made for a group meal on the Thursday evening and hopefully a chance to share stories of our travels in 2024 through the usual slideshow on one of the other evenings.
