Pre-meet to Barmouth

For those of you who would like to extend Alan’s November meet in Barmouth, I will be staying at Tudor Caravan Park, Shepherds Patch, Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, GL2 7BP from Monday to Thursday of that week.
If you would like to join this meet please book directly with the site online using the select a pitch option. www.tudorcaravanpark.com This will guarantee that we can all be in the same area.
I will be on pitch 30. So when booking, please choose "Select your preferred pitch Meadow", then look at the available pitch numbers, correlate it with the site map on the top right hand side of the screen and choose the nearest pitch to number 30. Please also put that you are with me/the Murvi Club when you book, then the site will be aware of what is happening.

The cost will be £22.50 per night for a hardstanding pitch including electricity and up to 2 people. A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required when booking. At the moment (July) there is plenty of availability, although that may well change as we get nearer to the date.
Having stayed at the site I can confirm that there is plenty to do and see. Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is a short walk from the site as is the Gloucester/Sharpness Canal. The Tudor Arms pub/restaurant is adjacent to the site and the Black Shed, a popular stop for cyclists and canal boat users is opposite. Please see the following websites for more information:
