At Small Batch Caravan & Camp Site

For those of you who are planning to attend the AGM meet at the Shrewsbury Showground, some of us will be staying at Small Batch Campsite in Little Stretton, Shropshire from Monday to Thursday of that week.
If you would like to join this meet please book yourself into the site and let me know that you will be joining me. Bookings can be made by telephone: 01694 723358 or Email: oscar@smallbatch-camping.co.uk. When booking please tell the site that you are with the Murvi Club, as spaces have been set aside for us. The site is officially closed until March but if you leave a message on the answering machine, Oscar or Pam will get back to you, probably within 24 hours. They will also pick up email bookings.
The 2018 price was £16 for a campervan, including two people. It is slightly less for singles.

Why stay here?
Small Batch is at the heart of some of the most beautiful countryside in Shropshire. The camp site is in the village of Little Stretton which is surrounded by stunning landscapes and located at the foot of the Long Mynd. It is a basic, family run site.
For those who enjoy walking, the area holds an abundance of opportunities - set off in any direction you will find an interesting and scenic walk. On the town side of the A49, a whole series of pretty valleys lead to the top of the Long Mynd.
Within 3-5 minutes’ walk are two pubs - The Ragleth Inn and the Green Dragon. Both offer great food and traditional village atmosphere.
Other local attractions are:
Stokesay Castle – one of the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor houses in England.
Acton Scott - Historic Working Farm visitor attraction with daily activities and special events.
Buses go from Little Stretton to both Ludlow and Shrewsbury and you can get a bus to Church Stretton which is bigger and only 2 miles away.
